The College, Career and Transition Fair is a great opportunity for students to explore various career paths, connect with colleges, and gain valuable information about community resources as students prepare to transition into adulthood. While Seymour High School hosts the event, we welcome students from all across the county (SHS, Brownstown, Medora, Crothersville, Trinity, SCCA)

This event was once known as iPod Day. The name has changed and the partnership has grown. The Seymour Special Education Department held a separate Transition Fair event previously. This is our 3rd year partnering to combine two great events. Included on the committee who plans the event is Jackie Hill and Zach Spicer from Jackson County Industrial Development Corporation, Celeste Bowman, SHS JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates), Cathy Reasoner, SHS College and Career Advisor and Work Based Learning Coordinator, Aaron Floyd, SHS Assistant Principal, Marykate Helmsing, SCSC Assistant Director of Special Education, Jerrell Hubbard, SHS Construction Teacher..
