"Chasing the Standards"

Aligning classroom instruction with state standards is my highest priority as a science teacher.  Given the nature of some of the standards it is sometimes a difficult thing to do.  My goal is to produce curricular units and activities that will engage students in meaningful learning while allowing for individual differences and learning styles.  Accomplishing all of the standards in the course of a school year is a challenge.  Below you will find a link to see how and when I will attempt to  address the standards this year in science class.
